MEET THE TROOP
BOY SCOUT PRINCIPLES APPLIED LOCALLY
Troop 765 has been around since 1983. Over the years, hundreds of boys from the Thousand Oaks area have come through our ranks and over 100 of them have graduated to Eagle.

Troop 765 is a boy led group that follows the National Councils program of Scout to Eagle. The Troop participates in many annual events like the Memorial Flag placement at Pierce Brothers in Westlake, Conejo Valley days, Conejo District Camporee as well as Coastal Cleanup.
Troop 765 is also about fun with group trips to MB2, Santa Cruz Island and Vasquez Rocks.
The Troop also ventures out on monthly campouts to places like Joshua Tree, Castaic, Carpenteria and Malibu Creek. There are also hikes through Wildwood and Satwiwa.

Service projects include feeding the homeless, Scouting for Food and Scout Sunday. There are also Troop picnics and holiday parties where we celebrate our achievements over the year.
Ultimately, Troop 765 is mostly about the objective of turning boys into considerate, charitable, well rounded young men. Young men who have been exposed to experiences and training that will propel them success wherever their journey leads them.
